The Friends of the JTPL is the volunteer support group for the Jeffersonville Township Public Library. The Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization under section 501 (c)(3). Contributions made directly to the Friends are tax deductible and are used to provide discretionary grants to the Library.
Book sales, Kroger Community Rewards, memberships, and generous donations have allowed the Friends of the Library to financially assist the library with the following:
- Summer Reading Program for children and adults
- Big Read Program
- Seed Library
- Juneteenth Event
- Staff Institute Day
- And More!
Support the Friends!
You can become a Friend of the library by getting a Friends Membership. Plus, we have a Bookstore open four times per month, where all proceeds go to support the library. You can also donate online or in our bookstore. If you shop at Kroger, you can sign up for Kroger Community Rewards, and a portion of your spending at Kroger will go to the Friends when you use your Kroger Plus Card or Alt ID.
